Even smelly breath is said to be affected by the benefits of green tea as it eliminate the bacteria which induces it. Several tests have been conducted on elderly people in order to assess their mental alertness after prolonged consumption of green tea. Green tea drinkers demonstrated less mental impairment and it is also thought that the tea improves the defense mechanisms, fighting off disease. Green tea can also be an aid to minimize stress levels.
