I was slowly killing myself, but I did not realize. I was at the point wherein I didn’t care about my well-being and that was the time when my family stepped in to help me. The mere thought of it frightens me until now. Executive Detox

But the purpose of this letter is not to dwell on the negative. Rather, I want to thank the staff at Pur Detox because they didn’t give up on me and with that I’m very grateful.

If by chance you’re reading this, let me ask you, are you struggling with your own addiction? Maybe you have a family member or even a friend who life is in shambles. The signs are there and you know it. You know the symptoms. It is time to reach out and get that loved one the help he or she needs, and it is up to you to do it. If no one cared to help me get out of my addictions, I don’t think I’ll be here writing this letter.

When I finished the program, my support team congratulated me for my achievements and several people also told me that when I first came in, I was on the brink of survival. One nurse said that I looked like I had been through chemotherapy because the alcohol and drugs had taken over my body so deeply. I had no energy, no hope, and could not even begin to fathom what the future might hold for me if I remained under the influence. My family rescued me just in time.

It was a good thing that an in-patient treatment was already arranged on my behalf. My wife and my sister checked out rehabilitation centers within a 100-mile radius from our house. Later, I found out that they had difficulties finding the right detoxification center because many programs make huge claims on their website but unfortunately, do not live up to their words. Or their credentials appear too good to be true. My wife and sister did their homework, found referrals and references to vouch for the authenticity of Pür Detox, and they were impressed with the beautiful facility, the staff, the level of care, and the medical supervision for the rapid detox program.

I spoke with the Pur Detox staff on the phone, that was our first step. At no time did I ever feel that my counselor was judging me or scolding me. I could sense that he really cared for my well-being.

The rest of the staff were great as well. The complete recovery of each patient is their primary goal.

Many of the patients were like me – just normal guys with families who lost their way. Several people in my counseling sessions were executives, and I even saw a couple of celebrities during my stay, although I won’t tell you whether they were patients or visitors.

I thank God each day for giving me the family who cared for me so much when I needed help the most. And I am so thankful of Pur Detox because they have helped many people regain their life back.
